Where there is smoke

The fires of the summer are upon us. In Minneapolis the smoke is intense the last few days. The red sun reminds you of the distant inferno if the haze on the golf course doesn’t first. It’s not a morning mist or a fog and it smells like fire, everywhere all the time.

I thought the fires in the Western US, specifically in Idaho, were what we were being impacted by in Minnesota. Then a bit of research revealed it’s actually the Manitoba fires to our North. That’s wild.

Here is to some rain and safety for the teams working the fires and any of those in their paths.
